Norpak supplies a complete line of TV data encoders, receivers, bridges, and system applications software. The IBM solution adds to Norpak's advanced designs, and provides ad hoc MPEG2 splicing which is fully compliant with existing industry standards.

"Norpak is pleased to take the lead in advanced data systems for Digital Television through this association with IBM. Norpak has lead the TV data industry for over 20 years through analog, digital and HD. The license of this technology from the Thomas Watson Research Center will ensure we continue to lead in the MPEG2 environment, " said Jim Carruthers, Norpak President.
