Media Station, Inc., Forges into Europe with Major Commercial Deal
NextGenTel to License Software-On-Demand Technology in Norway

ANN ARBOR, MI, May 8, 2001 - Media Station, Inc., the leader in interactive technologies, and NextGenTel, a European broadband service provider, today announced a technology licensing agreement that will enable NextGenTel to deploy the first software-on-demand service in Norway.

The multi-year agreement will enable subscribers in Norway to access PC-based multimedia gaming titles in real time from NextGenTel using the "Media RemoteTM" technology licensed from Media Station. In addition, NextGenTel's BroadPark portal will offer a combination of local content and content supplemented by Media Station's extensive library of popular game titles, to create a service that uniquely meets the needs of its customer base.

"The opportunities that exist in the broadband market in Europe are rapidly expanding," said Keith Fergie, European Business Director for Media Station, Inc. "The Scandinavian market is one of the leading areas for broadband penetration and deployment in Europe. Our partnership with NextGenTel will provide a very important foothold, with an excellent partner in one of the region's most attractive markets, as we continue our expansion across Europe."

NextGenTel plans to begin offering this service to its DSL subscribers in Norway by September, 2001. The offering will include a variety of popular CD-ROM game titles that subscribers can access through a low monthly subscription price. The service will be launched within NextGenTel's "walled garden" BroadPark portal.

"The introduction of a Games-on-Demand service powered by Media Station's technology, is one of the many steps we are taking to introduce 'killer' content and services to broadband," said Olav Stokke, Managing Director of NextGenTel AS, Norway. "Our Games-on-Demand service will provide entertainment through a broad and dynamic selection of CD-ROM gaming titles. It is our goal to enable the Games-on-Demand experience to surpass that of regular CD-ROM based entertainment.

"This offering is the direct result of feed-back from our customers," continued Stokke. "They have clearly stated that gaming is one of the key areas of interest from a content perspective. Choosing MediaStation was a natural selection for us based on both their experience within the gaming industry and their solid technical solution."

The MediaRemote technology platform supports the unique ability to both stream and digitally deliver a wide variety of multi-media content, including CD-ROM games, through online subscription, rental or purchase, without altering the source code, enabling rapid deployment.

"NextGenTel's selection of our MediaRemote technology further demonstrates our leadership for enabling digital content distribution," said Jim Maslyn, President and CEO of Media Station, Inc. "Licensing our technology to broadband providers, retailers and publishers is an important aspect of our overall company strategy and we see this as a natural extension of a company's eCommerce operations," continued Maslyn.
