A press release from the 21st Century Net folks....
Network-marketing company 21st Century Net signs deal to market Acer set-top boxes
Dallas, TX (May 12, 1999). 21st Century Net, Inc., the newest Telecommunications and Home-based Internet Access Distribution Company on the block, signed a major deal with Innovative Technology Solutions, Inc. (ITS) for distribution of the nationally acclaimed Acer / NCI TV set-top boxes. These are the same boxes already successfully used throughout Europe and are now being brought stateside through various distribution markets.
ITS has partnered with Network Computers Inc., a privately held company founded in 1996, which has teamed with Oracle Corporation, Netscape Communications Corporation, Acer America Corporation, NEC Corporation, Nintendo, Sega Enterprises, Ltd., and Sony Corporation.
According to ITS, 21st Century Net, Inc. is the very first to offer TV set-top boxes, which they are coining as ITV’s (Internet Television Viewers), via dial-up Internet Access, directly to the consumer through their Independent Associates using the home-based business, Network Marketing strategy. "We have placed our first of many orders with ITS who has a strong established distribution program. We expect to exceed our projected goal of 35,000 units sold in the coming year," said David Dobbs, President of 21st Century Net.
A start-up Network Marketing Company based in Dallas, TX, 21st Century Net, Inc. is signing up Associates quickly as the word is spreading fast on this new Internet access sales opportunity. Their goal is to have as many sign up to sell the ITV’s in their program as AOL had sign up earlier this year in the AOL Network Marketing Campaign. The advantage they offer is the residual income that can be earned by everyone on the 21st Century Net, Inc. team.
